That's nonsense. I hate her views, I won't pretend otherwise, but if she put them forward in a coherent way, she wouldn't be the figure of fun she has become.
Oh, and by the way, you can be a proud mother without being to the right of Genghis Khan! |

Yes, but does your extreme opposition to her views color your judgment to the point that you`re not being completely fair to her? |

| My opinions of her do cloud my judgement, very few people are completely objective after all. I think her views on the treatment of rape victims to be cruel and medieval, frankly. but it's not me who posts all the footage of Palin making herself look foolish on interviews. Why does she keep appearing with katie Couric, some sort of masochism? Having Daddy appear alongside her just made it look worse. |

Maybe she and Sen. McCain think that there is a difference from what the media thinks of them and what the american people think. |

Its not like she has actually been asked a difficult question in any of the interviews and the charge the media is being harsh on her is plain stupid, in the interviews I have see they have been very eas on her, they never had to ask the hard questions, she stumbled on the easy ones.
Palin has got to where she is today largely on charm, but that just isn't enough any more you now need substance. |

| Sarah Palin comes thru! She was terrific and her magic is back! I also thought that Joe Biden did an admirable job as well but the nite belongs to Sarah! My principle fear of Barack Obama becoming president is his truly frightening McGovern-esque view of the world but if it should happen that Obama should become president I for one will take great solace from the fact that Joe Biden will be there to aid him.....provided that President Obama will be in possession of enough fundamental sense to listen to him. I mean if Obama starts doing crazy things like inviting representatives of Hamas or Hezbollah or Ahmadinejad to the white house, we all will certainly be in serious need of Biden to try and talk some sense into him. Can you just imagine the reaction of the Israeli government if Obama wanted to hold talks with the aforementioned lunatics in Washington. MORGRAM PREDICTS: 10-3-08, no bailout bill voted on in the house, another black friday on wall street, a few days later MCCAIN puts forth a bold solution and saves the day...Obama not present as usual. |

So Sarah can string a sentence successfully in a prepared debate with weeks of preparation, I mean the Convention speech was excellent but off the cuff she falls in a heap. Trouble is in Politics and as President you don't get a weeks notice of what you need to say next week.
Of the two on stage answer this Question, which one looked and spoke like they could step up to be President in a flash, Dog Gone It aint Palin.
And what was the reason for bringing up Biden's dead wife so openly, "Your wife was a teacher for 30 years and she gets her reward in heaven" was that an attempt to put him off balance, it was pretty low if it was. |
